The Milstein Family Heart Center features a beautiful curved facade to optimize views of the Hudson river which the facility overlooks.  Custom vertical fabric louvers, manufactured by Hunter Douglas Architectural, are managed by an Embedia Solarai Plus control system to bring this incredible dynamic facade to life.  Tracking the position of the sun, the louvers are moved in 5° increments throughout the day to block out direct sunlight while maximizing views and soft natural light within the interior space.
