Project Description
New York, NY, USA

The Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park to control interior specialty blinds to reduce solar heat gain and control glare within the office space.  Conference room blinds are integrated with the audio visual (AV) system including wall mounted smart switches which allow manual overrides for privacy during meetings.  Aided by the LEED point contributions made possible by Embedia's Solarai shading control system, it has the distinction of being the first commercial high-rise to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
