Harvard Class of 1959 Chapel

Project Description
Cambridge, MA, USA
A gift from the MBA class of 1959, the non-denominational chapel on the campus of the Harvard Business School provides a unique experience to its' visitors. The simple geometric forms and features that bring natural elements to the modern design make the chapel an ideal location for non denominational services, private events, concerts, or even quiet contemplation. Specially designed prisms hang below the glazing located at the top of two story semi-circular concrete cavities lining the perimeter of the chapel. Embedia Solarai controllers animate the prisms to cast beautiful raking light and rainbows that slowly "dance" along the walls.
