In the Modern Wing, Embedia's Solarai control system manages roller shades mounted within a ventilated facade to automatically maintain specified interior light levels, regulating UV radiation and protecting art pieces from deterioration.  A custom web based graphical user interface allows the facilities team to control and override shades in specific galleries for special events or scheduled maintenance.
