Project Description
International Towers Sydney is a set of 3 commercial skyscrapers located on the Sydney waterfront at Barangaroo. The two largest towers feature Embedia Solarai mesh wireless controls automating 6000+ sheer and blackout shades. Predictive solar control, anti-glare regions, and advanced modeling help optimize the natural light and views for the building's interior while managing solar heat gain to reduce load on mechanical cooling systems. The BACnet compliant controls integrate seemlessly with the building management system (BMS) to facilitate operation and maintenance by facility managers. Audio visual (AV) integration allows one touch control of projector screens, lighting, shades, and more for all conference rooms throughout the towers. Utilizing a ZigBee mesh network, each motor controller also acts as a repeater to ensure communication is robust and reliable while communication cabling is minimized.
