Project Description
Los Angeles, CA, USA
Los Angeles County Museum of Art's (LACMA) large scale expansion project consisted of two distinct phases. Phase 1 was the Broad Contemporary Art Museum (BCAM) while phase 2 consisted of the Resnick or Special Exhibition Pavilion. Both phases of the expansion project featured Embedia's Solarai shading control system. The exterior roller shades, mounted on the building's facade and rooftop clerestory windows, provided daylighting control for the museum's gallery and exhibition spaces.
