The Remington YMCA in Quarry Park features expansive glazing and bright open spaces.  Embedia controls and interior motorized interior roller shades help to optimize the use of sunlight while blocking its negative qualities.  Glare and solar heat gain can be easily managed by staff.  Shades are also used for privacy as the facility features a glass-walled gymnasium, library, and daycare, among other amenities.
